Here is the lowdown on the 6th and final MACC race of 2008 on October 18th!
By Steve Oyer
It was another nice day and the rain around is gone………..the DA was +400ish at worst @ 60 degrees with lots-O-clouds. It stayed about the same all day with a few quick peaks of sun all day.
We had a year high 10 cars come to play; I thank all those that came out to support us! We had a new racer join us in a BB C3 and we had 2 guys and their pit crews come up from SC to play. Always great to have my buddies back, just makes the BS thicker and the racing closer. Dennis was kind enough to bring some barbecue up as well. It was good, and the 3 sandwiches I ate didn’t slow me down much….LOL.
The Race:
Jeter led the class once again during the two qualifying runs with a 9.7xs at 137+mph. Looking like no gimies in the 1st round! Dennis and I are verbally swinging at each other once again for the points win. We are tied going into today…..it does come down to him and me in the rounds!
In the first round:
Wilson takes out Carlton with a 12.40 on a 12.36 with a .15 light vs. a 13.49 on a 13.44 with an ..06 light. Carlton has to wait and see what I do now!
Oyer takes out Geer via a red light. Oyer runs a 12.26 on a 12.24 dial to a 11.29 on a 11.30 and gets 10 points on Carlton.
King takes out Debeasso with a 10.90 on a 10.85 with a ..06 light to a 13.19 on a 13.14 with Joe snoozing at the line.
Jeter takes out new racer Sebatini via the red eye with a 9.76 on a 9.78 with an .04 light to a 12.56 on a 12.65.
Melton gets the bye with a 13.22 on a 13.19
Carlton & Debeasso, buy back to have some more racing fun in the 2nd round. Randy is done for the day........broke motor and heads back home.
Quarter-Finals:
Wislon takes out Melton with an AWESOME r/t of .006 and a 12.45 on a 12.35 slowing down to preclude a breakout to a 13.35 on a 13.21 with a good .05 light.
Oyer takes out King via his uncharacteristic red light of .-025 running a 12.26 on a 12.26 with a .09 light to a 10.87 on a 10.87..........MAN that would have been close as He & I always seem to bring our A game when we race each other!
Carlton takes out Debeasso with a 13.44 on a 13.42 with an .12 light to a 13.05 on a 13.17 with a .21 light.............to quick Joe!
Jeter takes the bye with a 9.74 on a 9.76 with a -.016 light.
Semi-Finals:
Oyer takes out Carlton via a red light! This Gives me the Championship for 2009!
I run out the back door with a 12.26 on a 12.27 with an .06 light to a 13.46 on a 13.42 with a -.03 light.
Jeter advances with a 9.80 on a 9.74 with an .02 letting of the gas to Wilson's to quick 12.29 on a 12.32 and a .15 light.
Finals:
It all comes down to Jeter being closer to his dial & a better r/t………with a 9.75 on a 9.73 vs. my 12.248 on a 12.25 with an .11 light.......it made for a close call at the stripe……….

Here is the lowdown on the 5th MACC race on October 4th!
By Steve Oyer
It was another nice day and no rain around………..the DA was +1500 @ 77 degrees and stayed about the same all day. We had a near normal 6 cars come to play; I thank all those that came out to support us! AND a West Coast racer Dave Dowdell “Blue85L98” on the CF shooting pics! We had some good discussions in the pits. Hey Dave, were is the vids/pics?..............LOL
The Race:
Jeter led the class during the two qualifying runs with a 9.8xs at 137+mph. Looking like no gimies in the 1st round! Dennis and I are verbally swinging at each other for the points lead. I have him by 22 going into today, that’s not enough!
In the first round:
Jeter takes out Geer with a 9.81 on a 9.79 with a .03 light via a red light. To bad for Geer as it would have been a close race with Geer’s 11.4957 on a 11.50! Carlton with a 13.33 on a 13.29 dial and a .13 light takes out Oyer’s 12.48 on a 12.40 dial with a .28 light……..Dave, need the pics of the guy with his blower in front of me as I stage the 2nd light! The r/ts for both are nothing to write home about but Oyer can’t run the number anyway. Due to the no show of a new Vette to our challenge (He never heard the announcement till it was too late!) bad way to go out………I am sorry you missed another round. Robertson has the bye and runs a 9.86 @138. Oyer buys back to have some more racing fun in the 2nd round. Geer is done for the day and heads back home. The track picks whom I race……………Jeter it is AGAIN!
Semi-Finals:
Carlton takes out Robertson in a very close race with a 13.35 on a 13.29 dial with a .08 light vs. a 10.05 on a 9.90 with a .09 light…….looked close to me from the burn out box! Jeter advances with a 9.83 on a 9.79 with an .07 light taking out Oyer cause he doesn’t let off the go pedal enough at the end….breaking out by .0173 with a 12.47 on a 12.49 with an .08 light.
Finals:
It all comes down to Jeter being closer to his dial………with a 9.82 on a 9.80 vs. Dennis’s 13.34 on a 13.39. RTs were close with Carlton’s .0816 to Jeter’s .0906 it made for a close call at the stripe……….

FINAL THOUGHTS
Congratulations to Ronnie Jeter’s 1st MACC win for the year along with Dennis Carlton for the runner up spot! Dennis is closing in on my points lead. The next race will determine the 2008 Winner & R/U……..who’s coming out to try and knock Dennis and me off our game?
I also want to thank our sponsors, The HP Factory & Carolina Auto Masters.
Next race is scheduled for Saturday October 18th.

Here is the lowdown on the 4th MACC race on September 20th!
By Steve Oyer
The Race:
It was a nice cool day compared to the first three races this year! and no rain around………..the DA was +882 @ 72 degrees down to +242 once it got dark at 62 degrees.
We had a season high of 9 cars come to play; I thank all those that came out to support us! May have been just a little BSing in the pits.
Atkinson led the class during the two qualifying runs with a 9.8xs at 137+mph. One racer can’t stand the heat (or lack of traction) and has to leave………..lol, so it’s down to an even field of 8, no gimies in the 1st round!
In the first round:
Carlton takes out Theisen with a 13.36 on a 13.26 dial via a red light. The starter said the 10 second auto start got him…..looked shorter to me, but too bad for him. Oyer with a 12.50 on a 12.37 dial takes out Debeasso’s 13.23 on a 13.10 dial. The r/ts for both are near the same (nothing to write home about!) with Oyer letting off for the win as Joe slows down and can’t run the number. Robertson takes the win with a 10.62 on a 10.60 dial as Green redlights by less than 1/10th. Jeff did a good job for his first time racing, hope he wants to come back and play. Atkinson advances with a 9.87 on a 9.84 taking out Melton as he redlights away by about ½ of a 1/10th Theisen buys back to have some more racing fun in the 2nd round. As it turns out, that was $$ well spent!
2nd round:
Carlton takes out Oyer in a very close race with a 13.35 on a 13.31 dial with an .09 light vs. a 12.37 on a 12.37 with a .15 light…….ya snooze ya looze! Theisen takes out Robertson on the hole shot with a .07 light lifting big time to a 13.60 on a 12.78 dial vs. a .56 light and running a 1/10th quicker than the 10.60 dial. Atkinson gets the bye on a shake of the bottle and runs a 9.86 on a 9..84 and the best R/T & package of the night with an .02 light.
3rd round Semi-Finals:
In the Semis, Carlton was concerned running a deadly consistent car raced weekly…….but in the end it wasn’t even close! Both racers were nearly identical on the tree with Carlton’s .08 light to Atkinson’s .06…….At ½ track Atkinson has mechanical issues sounding like a rev limiter hit and runs a 10.81 on a 9.84. Carlton is dialed in and never looks back running a 13.34 on a 13.31. Theisen gets the bye due to having the best r/t in the last round. He runs a 12.60 on a 12.58………the final is shaping up to be a close one!
4th round Finals:
In the Finals, it all comes down to Carlton’s quicker reaction time with a .0472 to Theisen’s .0692. With both drivers off their dial by similar numbers Carlton’s 13.33 on a 13.31 vs. Theisen’s 12.60 on a 12.58 it made for a close call at the stripe……….
Here are links to our CF thread and a few of my pics with detailed round by round sheets, comments and pictures:

I also want to thank our sponsors, The HP Factory & Carolina Auto Masters.

Here is the lowdown on the 3rd MACC race on June 28th!
By Steve Oyer
Even though it was another steamy hot VA day, it was a day I worked with the track to get..........so real racers just roll with it!
It was a nice hot day and no rain around yet!………..the DA was:
- +2792 3:54 pm 95 degrees
- +2862 4:54 pm 96 degrees
- +2571 5:54 pm 91 degrees
- +2748 6:54 pm 94 degrees
- +2560 7:54pm 91 degrees
The Race:
With 4 cars, I led the class during our 2 run qualifiers with a 12.6 at 109+mph in the 1/4 mile. Brian just wants a 12 second run…….Dennis wants to run consistent today no matter the et…Joe………just wants to run…..and I just don’t want to break another C5!
In the first round:
Joe and Brian line up. Joe cuts his best light yet with a .086 to Brian’s uncharacteristic .51. Joe never gives up the advantage with a 13.37 on a 13.30 dial. Brian trying to catch him breaks out with a 12.88 on a 12.99 dial. Never seen him so happy a looser………….his best time yet in very hot weather!
Dennis and Steve line up. Both of us cut poor lights, mine is .05 better. I let off the gas for the win with a 12.68 on a 12.61 dial vs. Dennis running a 13.94 on a 13.88 dial.
2nd round:
Dennis wants to buy back……..Since Joe has the best RT of the 1st round, he gets the bye run…….Dennis said I am not loosing to Steve again!. So Dennis and I line up again. Dennis tree’s me with a .183 to my .316…….but he takes himself out running a 13.86 on a 13.93 dial while I run a 12.64 on my 12.61.
3rd round Finals:
Joe takes the win with a 13.46 on a 13.36 dial as I screw around trying for a perfect light……….oh so close with a -.004, oh well so I run it out the back door with a 12.61 on a 12.64. Joe’s 1st win and a good one at that.

Here is the lowdown on the 2nd MACC race on May 24th!
By Steve Oyer
Even though it was Memorial Day Weekend, we worked with the track to get 6 dates, and this Saturday afternoon event was one of them. It was a nice day and no rain around again!………..the DA was:
- +1070 2:54 pm 75 degrees
- +818 3:54 pm 71 degrees
- +818 4:54 pm 71 degrees
- +818 5:54 pm 71 degrees
- +875 6:54 pm 72 degrees
- +616 7:54pm 68 degrees
- +230 8:54pm 62 degrees
The Race:
With 3 cars, I led the class during our 2 run qualifiers with a 6.98x at 99+mph in the 1/8 mile. Since Joe is a new racer and he ask for help…I am give him tips on how to race and dial in the car.
In the first round:
We let the track pick who got the bye........A shake of the bottle gives me the comp bye!
So Dennis and Joe line up…..Dennis leaves better off the tree by more than a 10th, and never gives up the advantage with a 13.48 on a 13.43 dial. Joe trying to catch him breaks out with a 13.17 on a 13.25 dial.
2nd round:
oe wants to buy back……..Since I got the bye last time, I can’t take it again even with the best RT of the round…so Joe & I line up. I tree him by almost 2/10ths off the line with a .06 vs. a .23 with a slow 11.20 on an 11.00 dial to Joe’s 13.12 on a 13.19 with him off the gas no less! He breaks out again so I take the win for sure. If he didn’t break out and run his # he may have won due to my car slowing down….
3rd round Finals:
Dennis takes the win with a 13.63 on a 13.48 dial as my car slows way down to an 11.46 on an 11.18. Even though I cut a little better tree of a .094 vs. .125………hard to make up for a near 3/10ths miss dial!..tranny is broke again.

Here is the lowdown on the 1st MACC race on May 3rd!
By Steve Oyer
Even though it was Mothers’ day Weekend, we worked with the track to get 4 dates, and this Saturday afternoon event was one of them. It was a warm/humid day, but no rain around for a change!………..the DA was:
- +1999 2:54 pm 84 degrees
- +1933 3:54 pm 83 degrees
- +1828 4:54 pm 81 degrees
- +1719 5:54 pm 79 degrees
- +1554 6:54 pm 76 degrees
- +1428 7:54pm 74 degrees
- +1151 8:54pm 70 degrees
The Race:
With 7 cars, R. Jeter led the class during our 2 run qualifiers with a 9.8x at 130+mph. We let the track pick who got the bye........7 CARD Draw! Lucky Mr. Robertson picked the lone Ace!
In the first round:
On a double tree cut down it went to Claytor who was closer on his dial running a 10.14 on a 10..09 vs Carlton running uncharacteristically off his by 2/10th slower. S Jeter took the win against car #104 with him breaking out by 1/2 a 10th. Not bad for a 1st time drag racer!
R Jeter cut a .016 light on me to advance as I slept and spun to a 10th off my dial Robertson strolled down the track on his bye run. to a 10.4@137+ Carlton & I bought back to have some more racing fun in the 2nd round.
2nd round:
Card picks again! And its almost a repeat race of the 1st round......except S Jeter taking out Robertson on the hole shot with a .09 light vs a .53. Oyer took out R Jeter with a 12.42 on a 12.40 and a .06 light to a 9.91 on a 9.85 with an .03 light......it was dam close at the stripe and we had to look at the bulb to see who took it. Claytor ran a 10.16 on a 10.09 with both near a .07 tree....Carlton still off by a 1/10th slower on his dial cost him again!
3rd round Semi-finals:
Claytor raced S Jeter with another close race but a double break-out!......Claytor cut down the tree with a .0191 with a 10.088 on a 10.10 dial to a .066 with a 12.30 on a 12.32. Oyer get the comp bye with a better R/T in the last round by .0023!
4th round Finals:
Oyer squeaks out his 1st MACC win with a 12.3796 on a 12.37 dial with a .1013 vs Claytors 10.1159 on a 10.08 with a .0962 tree..... .0308 at the stripe!!!!!!

Here is the lowdown on the 4th MACC race on September 1st!
By Steve Oyer
It was another dry day and not too hot for a change!
No rain in sight....means we got 2 qualifying runs in and running the full ¼ mile…….for a while anyway! The DA was the lowest yet….. +1800 to start and around +1000 at 9pm, about 81 degrees at 3pm and 71 degrees at 9pm... a 1/10th quicker in the evening looking at my slips. Great to talk to some of our new racers that came out, our Maryland guys once again that made it out along with the Chief from GA and his lovely pit crew Sara.
I was unable to award the "Clock" to Ernie as Scott was MIA for this race………pansy!
I think Wayne really wanted the alarm clock to use at home………He got it this time. With a .6039, I think he was watching the pit babes and not the lights. Competition once again was tight! The Race with 10 cars, Roger once again with Low 10s led the class during our 2 qualifying runs. Only a few red lights in time trial……….and in the coming rounds……
In the first round:
Kromer glides to an easy win WITH a TRAP SPEED OF 92 MPH due to Wilson having mechanical issues big time!
Davis sleeps at the tree cause he saw Criss activate the big red eye and smoothes to a win
Oyer has a good launch and fair tree close to Creecy's R/T but Creecy misses a shift allowing Oyer to an easy win with a trap of 102 mph.
Claytor takes the win on an easy 10.17 pass with Perin eating a sandwich at the tree.
Carlton wins with a good tree/time when King gets a -.007 head start on the tree……..and his 1st 10 sec slip again for the day.
2nd round:
Oyer takes the win with a 11.12 on a 11.00 over Davis who breaks out with a 13.2244 on a 13.23 and a .05 light to boot…………oh well, that's racin' 'cause if he didn't break out he would have had me easy…….off my dial by over a 1/10th!
Claytor Takes the win is a closeeeeeeeeee race. He runs a 9.9843 on a 9.98 with a .0478 light vs. Kromer running an 11.7407 on an 11.73 with a .1018 light.
King takes the win letting off to an 11.00 @ 115 due to Perin having a slow light and off his dial by almost 2/10ths.
Wilson takes the win running a 12.53 on a 12.56 due to Criss light the red eye by .02
Carlton gets the comp bye easing off the line by ½ second and finding his dial of 13.82 needs to be a 13.79.
3rd round:
Carlton gets the easy win with a nice .04 tree due to Wilson going red by a 10th.
Oyer wins in another breakout fest running an 11.12 on an 11.14 vs. King with a 10.92 on a 10.96……..another quick vette close race! Neither tree is worth mentioning!
Claytor gets the comp bye and runs a 9.98 on a 9.97 @ 136+ with a red light……why can't he do that when we race dam it!
NOTE: There is a top end oil down and the track tells us in the staging lanes we will finish out the night running the 1/8th mile……….
Semi-Final round:
Claytor wins running a 6.3656 on a 6.36 with a .08 tree vs. Carlton running an 8.95 on an 8.82 with a nice .04 tree.
Oyer gets the comp bye…….playing with the tree (.08…not great) running a 7.1027 on a 7.08.
Final round:
Claytors' night to shine again! Running a 6.3647 on a 6.36 with a .04 tree vs. my nice big redlight again!. -.010 Is close……but I broke out with a 7.0451 on a 7.10 so it didn't hurt as much……right?...........yea right.
Congrats once again for Dave winning an extra point for distance, Dennis an extra point for the best R/T and Roger a point for the best package of the night, a .0521 TWICE no less!

FINAL THOUGHTS
Congratulations to Roger Claytor for his driving skill and as the runner up for the 2007 MACC points series!
I am honored to take the championship this year because there were way too many close races that could have easily gone either way. I want to thank all the spectators and racers for coming out to race with us. If it wasn't for Jeff stepping up to the plate and putting up the $$$
I want to once again thank our sponsors Carolina Auto Masters and Performance Tire & Wheel Services, Inc.
And a BIG thanks to Johnny Davis and crew at RDW for letting us come play on race day with them this year. We look forward to next year
Hope to see you all soon at the next track rental at RDW………November 9th, look for the post in the SE section!
We had a total of at least 23 different racers through the year………..if you all come each time, watch the $$$ payout go up!
Here is the lowdown on the 3rd MACC race on August 11th!
By Steve Oyer
It was another dry day and not to hot for a change! No rain in sight....means we got 2 qualifying runs in and running the full ¼ mile. The DA was the lowest yet….. +2000 to start and around +1300 at 9pm, about 86 degrees at 3pm and 74 degrees at 9pm...about a 1/10th quicker in the evening. Great to talk to some of our Maryland guys once again that made it out and the new drivers this time as well.
I was also able to award the "Clock" to Scott as he made it back up for this race………
I guess if he comes back on the 1st he gets to award it to Ernie…….. I never thought a .225 R/T would win that. Competition is getting tighter!
The Race with 8 cars, Jerry once again with Low 10s led the class during our 2 qualifying runs. The red lights started early even in time trial……….an ominous sign of things to come for sure.
In the first round:
Hudson glides to an easy win WITH A TRAP SPEED OF 89 MPH due to Henry lighting the red bulb big time!
Gabe driving Brian's car breaks out with a 13.3669 on a 13.37 but……..McPeeks red lights with a -.0094 bulb to give the win away!
Oyer wins on a break out over Wilson running a 11.18 on a 11.18 vs. his 12.69 on a 12.75……r/ts were near the same……..it was close at the stripe! And I think Bill was happy with that ET.
King takes the win on another close match, r/ts near the same with him running an 11.0143 on an 11.01 to Carlton's 13.8794 on a 13.86!
2nd round:
I was suppose to get the bye run……..but very unfortunate for McPeeks he didn't get back to the lanes soon enough and was turned away by the staging lane crew…….oh well, that's racin sometimes. Sorry it happed Jerry…..
Once again Gabe driving Brian's car cruises to an easy win as Hudson lights the big bad red bulb by over -.15 seconds giving the win away.
Wilson chops the tree with a .0026 to take out King in a hole shot by 2/10ths. Wilson ran a 12.8591 on a 12.67 vs. King who is dialed in running a 11.0147 on a 10.99
Now you would think me watching all my fine outstanding, fierce, diehard, stoic, peer racing competitors red-light I would be paying attention…………….hell no, I want to chop the tree…….and I paid for it. Carlton takes the win even though he breaks out by running a 13.8324 on a 13.84 dial……………because I RED LIGHT to a -.0099 with an 11.20 on an 11.16 dial. At least I lost to the eventual winner……….that means something right?.................
Semi-Final round:
Wilson gets the bye due to his r/t and red-lights playing with the tree and has some shifting gremlins ………as they say……..he's in the money!
Carlton takes the win with a .06 r/t and running a 13.8104 on a 13.81 dial to Gabe's………….yep, you guessed it……………..red-light of -.0156
Final round:
It was Carlton's night to shine. He ran a 13.93 on a 13.80 with a .0415 tree! Wilson had a sluggish light of .1886 and was way of his dial due to the shifting issues come back again.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Congratulations to Dennis Carlton for his driving skill. I am guessing the buy back was worth it this time!
I want to once again thank our sponsors Carolina Auto Masters and Performance Tire & Wheel Services, Inc.
Hope to see you all on September the 1st, the final race for the championship!
Here is the lowdown on the 2nd MACC race on July 14th!
By Steve Oyer
It was another hot/humid day with no rain in sight....means we should have 2
qualifying runs and running the full ¼ mile. It was great for me to show up and
be the #6 car!
The DA was no better than +1700, about 90 degrees at 3pm and 80 degrees at
9pm...about a 1/10th quicker in the evening. Great to talk to some of our
Maryland guys that made it out and of coarse the one "Chief" that had been
trying to make it more than a few times.
The Race
With 11 cars, Roger Claytor led the class during our 2 qualifying runs with a
9.XX at 137+mph. The fine track officials I love dearly...:) pull "the can of
numbers" out to see who gets the bye run..... Stelly gets it in the 1st round.
In the first round:
Hudson squeaks out a very close one over Carlton due to a break out with a
12.272 on a 12.27 vs a 13.779 on a 13.78!
Oyer wins on a red light running a 11.26 on a 11.25 vs a .005 red bulb!for
Terry.
King is on his dial and r/t running a 11.14 on a 11.10 with an 06 vs Howard who
was uncharacteristically off his dial and R/T by over a 1/10th on both.
Boone wins by treeing his next door neighbor Davis with a .02 to a .22
Claytor wins on a lift to make sure he doesn't run under over Lupows' slower R/T
and time off his dial.
Stelly makes a clean pass under his dial on the bye
2nd round:
Stelly trees Hudson and lifts to make sure of the win with a 11.57 on a 11.19
with a .01 vs a 12.37 on a 12.23 with a .33(winning the Chief Dave Award!!!)
Oyer wins on a double break out over King 11.24 on a 11.28 vs 11.02 on a
11.10....neither was willing to lift!
Claytor runs closer to his number than Terry on a close race! R/Ts were near the
same with a 10.08 on a 10.03 vs a 11.82 on a 11.75
Lupow wins on a double red light over Boone with a closer to green R/T of a
.0046!
Semi-Final round:
Claytor took out Lupow with the best package of the night with a .0407! Chief
Dave was no slouch either ...his was a .0519! Must have been close at the
stripe.
Oyer took out Stelly in a pedal race at the end....R/Ts were both .04X so the
lift/gas game was on and I eaked this one out......damn close!
Final round:
It was Claytor's night to shine. He ran a 10.0445 on a 10.04 with a .0386 tree!
Oyer had a sluggish .08 light and ran out the back door with a 11.21 on a 11.25
dial...returning the favor Claytor gave me in the last race.LOL
At the strip, Claytor won by less than 1/10th of a 10th, or extrapolated
out...by less than 9 inches!!!

Dave Satterfiled Wins First Event of 2007
05/12/07 - Next race is scheduled for July 14th
Here is the lowdown on the 1st MACC race on May 12th!
By Steve Oyer
Even though it was Mothers' day Weekend, we worked with the track to get 4 dates, and this Saturday afternoon event was one of them.
It was a hot/humid day and rain was all around………..the DA was no better than +1300 all evening. With the threat of rain, the track went to 1/8 mile for all and just one test pass…it happens!…..just as we were going into the 1st round of eliminations………the rain came. After about a 45 minute delay and we were still lined up in the staging lanes for round 1! Dry off the water on the cars to keep it off the track And lets get it!
The Race
With 7 cars, Roger Claytor led the class during its single qualifier with a 6.3xs at 109+mph. Due to my R/T being the best during our practice run……I get the competition bye in the 1st round.
In the first round, Claytor broke out less in the double breakout over Satterfield with a 6.34 on a 6.37 vs. a 7.46 on a 7.50.
McPeeks had near 2/10s advantage off the line to take out Woodberry who also ran under.
Hudson snuck by with almost 3/10ths advantage off the line to get by Davis who also ran under.
I had the bye and didn't take myself out!
All 3 bought back to have some more racing fun in the 2nd round;
In the 2nd round, Oyer took out Hudson who was asleep at the tree for a change.
Claytor ran a 6.35 on a 6.33 and took out Woodberry who red-light….
Satterfield has a nice .02 r/t and took out Davis who also had a nice .06 light but off his dial by 2/10ths.
McPeeks had a bye this time due to his .015 r/t and ran a nice 6.41 on a 6.40.
In the Semis, Oyer raced a close, yet successful, round against Claytor. Both racers were nearly identical on the tree. With Oyer running a 7.37 on a 7.35 vs Claytor running out the back door with a 6.31 on a 6.35. McPeeks gave away his chance for the win against Satterfield when he left early by 1/10th off the starting line.
In the Finals, Satterfield had a quicker reaction time with a .075 to Oyer's slowest of the weekend .131. With both drivers off their dial by similar numbers it made for a close call at the stripe……….Satterfield won by less than ¼ of a 10th, or extrapolated out…….by 2.98 feet !!!
